$20 NL: Top set oop against PFR
Opponent is relatively unknown. 57/20/1.29 over 35 hands. That is the best read I can provide.
How do I extract the maximum from him? Is CR the best line with a PFR here? Re: $20 NL: Top set oop against PFR
Bet out on the flop, it actually helps disguise your hand and makes it easier to get all the money in the pot. The best-case scenario is PF raiser has an overpair and will raise you on the flop, and you can then push over the top.

Concur with bet/bet/bet.
I'd also make a much larger bet at the end when the A hit. |

Re: $20 NL: Top set oop against PFR
Given that opponent is aggressive, there's a good chance he will have nothing. So I prefer checking to leading out. I want to get his continuation bet at a minimum. I'm not a fan of the check-minraise. If you are going to show strength with a check-raise at least make it a decent one. To at least 1.6. Alternatively, another good option might be just check-call the flop and lead turn.

It seems to me that villian is drawing to the flush and played it correctly from his stand point. You should have punished him much more on the turn. At least a pot sized bet.

Re: $20 NL: Top set oop against PFR
I would most likely lead here ($.60-$.70), but if I did decide to C/R I would make it like $1.6 to go.
I mean, this looks ok to me...I don't love the min-C/R but the other bets seem fine. Unfortunately top set on the flop doesn't always stack the PFR. =( |
