Almost all Damien Rice songs. [/ QUOTE ] the first posts are always the best Example, Cannonball: Stones taught me to fly Love taught me to lie Life taught me to die So it's not hard to fall When you float like a cannonball PS: Black from Pearl Jam and plenty of songs from radiohead are also great options. |

How Soon is Now - Smiths
There's a club, if you'd like to go You could meet somebody who really loves you So you go, and you stand on your own And you leave on your own And you go home, and you cry And you want to die |

How Soon is Now - Smiths There's a club, if you'd like to go You could meet somebody who really loves you So you go, and you stand on your own And you leave on your own And you go home, and you cry And you want to die [/ QUOTE ] Ugh, no kidding. This song just makes me wither inside. It doesn't help it is in the movie "Closer", and that is NOT a happy go lucky film. I'm glad someone did this thread. Other choices: All is Full of Love, Bjork Hurt, Johnny Cash I Know You Are But What Am I?, Mogwai Wish You Were Here, Pink Floyd Mad World, Gary Jules Any Jeff Buckley song Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode Five Days in May, Blue Rodeo and I shall quote Blue Parade by Sarah Slean: I hear them coming the blue parade they're throwing snowflakes and singing my name in deep blue voices I hear them say There's good love out there just you wait |
