TPTK, what the hell do I do with it
20 euro NL at B2B. No reads.
One limper, I raise 4x BB with AQos from the CO, both blinds and limper calls. All stacks around 20 euros. Flop is 9Q7 two clubs, I have the queen of clubs. Checked to me, I bet the pot, one caller. Turn is the 6 of diamonds, he checks, I bet two thirds of the pot, he calls. River is the T of clubs. He pushes all in for the rest of my stack (6 euros), pot is 27 euros. What do I do on the river and what should I have done on every street before that? I am noob at NL and noob at posting here, so if I have done anything wrong, please berate me. |

Re: TPTK, what the hell do I do with it
So it looks to me like pot was:
Preflop, 0.8E, 3 calls, ~3E Flop, pot/pot, 9E Turn, 2/3-pot, call, 21E River, 6E bet, 27E to you So villain called a 6E bet on the turn. Which means that if he was drawing to the flush, he called to net himself either 21E or 3.5:1 if you fold, or 27E or 4.5:1 if you call. I don't know if you call the river or not, but my point is that in the long run, if villain was drawing, it doesn't matter if you call. He was chasing with poor odds. Even if you call this river, over the long run if villain chases draws like this, you eventually take all his money. |
