IMO, if you don't have the business credentials, you shouldn't mod here. This forum needs a mod who knows business and knows how to filter out the crap. Just having the desire to make money doesn't make anyone a good candidate for mod, as all of us would like some more money.

Mr. Now is honored to be nominated by you, a 2+2 veteran, regarding the office of Moderator here.

The job looks very interesting. I do need to hear from other Mods regarding the required time commitment per week. I'm fascinated by 2+2 as you know. I suspect the time expected to do a first class job does steadily increase as the Forum takes shape and gets traction.

Currently I post in the range of 8 to 10 kilowords per month. I'm wondering if taking on the Mod task will kill my ability to post prolifically on 2+2 each month.

I'm also scratching my head on how to monetize the Mod task. Time, after all, is money. At least for Now.

That's true. I've been involved in startup businesses before including retail and online. I'm an business student still currently.

I've also ran a 50k+ a year eBay business when I was a Senior in high school. I know business.. It's what I study and low.

Business law (best form of incorporation etc..), Acquiring Startup Capital (VC Angel Investors), Accounting, etc... are all in my realm of experience.

I'm a young budding entrepreneur. Poker's just a way to make solid money to invest in a venture once I get out of school =)

It'd just be nice to be able to learn more and become involved with a specific forum to get me back to my business thinking ways as opposed to gambling (although starting up a business is a bigger risk than poker by far).
