FTP 1/2 PLO8 Kristy Gazes

Okay so for the first time in a long time Kristy Gazes came and played her namesake table on FullTiltPoker, its a 1/2 PLO8 table

How does a "pro" donk it up like this?

But thats not even trying to be good. With any sort of poker background you have to know that it cant be optimal to play half your hands and raise 15% of them, no matter what the game.

I kind of wonder whether theres pressure on big name pros to play well, just so that the general public doesnt think theyre a friggin moron. Gotta figure that pros have some insecurities too.

I see what you mean by the way, I went to stars, played the .01/.02 and donked it up.

I played with her early on (several months ago) when she first joined FTP and she is horrible. Either that or she is compensated to donk it up. I lean toward horrible.

Last time I played 1/2 with her on FT she got her stack over 5 max buyins. I've never seen her do nearly that badly Station and she usually seemed to put ol Perry Friedman to shame even though her PT stats are a little donkish.

True. I just thought the Pros got to somewhat pick where their namesake table went and wouldnt choose a game they have no experience in

I am sure full tilt pays here something, i guess im assuming most people that play on FTP even those that are "Friends of FTP" get paid something

My datamining on FTP is not what it used to be, so I didnt have much info, if I dug out an old database from last year I might have more....

Perry Friendman is normally a good time, also Allen Cunningham - Perry tries to play well from my observations - Allen likes to play shorthanded and doesnt mind getting it all in on the flop on a 3 low board with a set - He used to play a lot of shorthanded 2/4 PLO8 last year, I dont see him doing that much anymore which is -EV for me, used to come in and throw away a few buyins on a regular basis - I think Perry and Allen just were looking for a diff poker game than they could play live

The Pros are there to create some action and play with the masses. I once busted Clonie Gowen on her table with a set. She called two all-ins with a JT on a board of J84. You know she doesn't think that's best.
