Man..just watched The Hills Have Eyes...out of sheer boredom

How bad have horror movies gotten today...they can't even be original, they have to be even crappier remakes of crappy horror films.

Michael Bay and Eli roth should be executed for helping get this crap put on film.

Agreed. Saw this two days ago and it was [censored] awful.

Guess I'll have to rent Candyman. Haven't seen it yet.

Just read this quote:

"I'm excited about all of the horror movies that are coming out - the explosion of ultravioloent horror movies. The best movie I saw this year was The Hills Have Eyes remake"
- Quentin Tarantino

Am I the only one who doesn't really place Scream in the Horror genre? Maybe because I wasn't the least bit scared by it, but it seems to fit more in with a Murder Mystery.

I would like to vote for Candyman as well. It was well done and I'll admit that I had a hard time looking in mirrors for a while after it (I was 11 at the time).

No you're not alone. It's a good film, but not horror.

For American movies, Candyman, Blair Witch, and Silence of the Lambs are about it.

And maybe the bodysnatchers remake...haven't seen it, so don't know.

That was more of a thriller or suspense movie, no? I dont view it as horror really. Was def. scary at times though.
