I just wanted to get this going a day early because I am pumped. There's like 200 scenarios for Korea to move on, but F typing them out. Korea should just beat the Swiss and F France over.

although I'd love to see France out right now I really want to see more of Zidane. He diserves much better than to retire after a poor game he didn't even finish.

Shant - will you be watching it at Wilshire Park? I'm gonna try to cut out of work and head there...
France losing is the optimal scenario. Rooting for any other outcome means you have no soul IMO. Zidane has enough accolades and a Cup, so f him [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] -Al Edit - Shant, it's not possible to be too excited. Corea! Hangul!

[/ QUOTE ] I wish I could but I started a new freelance job this week so I have to be at work over here. The good news is I somehow landed the desk with a TV and cable box on it. I will be sporting the J H AHN jersey though. Edit: Thanks to whichever mod gave me the new title. Al, are Armenians allowed to root for Korea like this? I've been going to the Korean gatherings and people seem to like it.

I basically don't care as long as Korea either goes through first or busto in third. I want Spain to play one of the European teams, they should beat both comfortably I think but Korea would give them more trouble.
Although a revenge-for-getting-screwed-worse-by-poor-referee-decisions-than-any-other-team-ever match has some appeal.

[/ QUOTE ] Zidane got scr*wed with that yellow. Yet another bad yellow card. I'm rooting for the Swiss or a tie - would love to see the French get knocked out. WTF is with France coach not putting in Trezeguet? I know he has disciplinary issues but whatever they need him to rack up goals today or they're done.
