Jumprope
I bought a jumpope a while back. I took it out of the package today. What is a good daily plan for cardio with this thing?
I remember Tabata being suggested. I am too lazy to look it up on my own, can someone explain that in a daily plan style? I am down to jumprope for an hour a day if that would be most beneficial. Please suggest something for me. |

Re: Jumprope
if you can jumprope for an hour i will be impressed.
i recently began doing jumprope and at first it would wind me bad and make me think i was dying after a while. i start doing the arm criss-cross when i get bored. then again i may get tired easy because i cannot do the sweet technique where it looks like you are kicking out each foot one at a time. i have to do the double foot bunny hop looking method. i am going to research if there is an easier sweeter technique right now actually. |

Re: Jumprope
I doubt I could get anywhere near an hour. I'm just looking for something structured so I can keep at it. What is your normal routine when you jumprope? Do you go until you're winded or do you set an amount of time and try to reach it?

Re: Jumprope
I think you're wrong.
When you jumprope you usually just jump a couple inches off the ground. Jogging would seem to require a harder impact when you hit the ground. |

Re: Jumprope
yeah...your wrong.
Jumping rope and speed laps w/ swimming are great..though if your really out of shape you may die of a heart attack. |

Re: Jumprope
I would be bored to death if I were to jumprope for an hour a day. I only use mine as a warm up when I'm hitting the heavybag that day. I didn't know there were routines.
