Shaving - Do you use cream?

I don't and I've been told I'm crazy by many. I've never seen much of a use for it. I just use hot water and a razor and I'm good to go. I often change facial hair styles from full beard, goat, chopstache, amish, and cleanly shaven. I'll occasionally use after-shave but don't see much of a point to that either. My skin doesn't seem to suffer visibly from lack of shaving cream use and it's one less thing I have to do when getting ready.

Thoughts?

I use the Nivea Gel plus the Nivea after shave balm. I never really have any problems with my face feeling like it's on fire.

Who uses razors now a days? I use electric shavers instead.

EDIT: Also without cream

I shave in the shower which I find eliminates the need to use cream/gel. If I wasn't shaving in the shower, I'd definitely use it.

Yeah, shaving in the shower is the best of all. Your skin doesn't get dry or [censored] like with cream. And it's also the quickest of all I think.

I usually go for 3+ days without shaving, so when I do get around to it, I use my beard trimmers, then my electric, then razor+cream.

The last time I tried an electric shaver it gave me a shave that felt like it was a day old. Are they better? What about the ones that ooze out the shaving jizz on your face. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
