Default Paradise Customer Survey Telephone Call?

Has anyone here received an e-mail from Scott Wilson, CEO Paradise Poker, asking to participate in a telephone interview in exchange for a freeroll tournament limited to 50 people for a seat in the WSOP main event?

I received this e-mail and want to make sure that it is legit. The e-mail asks for your telephone number as well as a good time to call. The letter states that the interview will last 30 minutes.

I received it and emailed them to ask if it was a scam and they said it was real.

why do the sites have to do these silly surveys when it's obvious what they need to improve. There's a reason why paradise is no longer the biggest online poker site.

Enlighten me. I haven't been playing since they were the biggest, so I don't know the story.

How did Paradise lose the lead?

Not enough tv/fish exposure? No reload bonuses? No VIP/rakeback? No instant hand history? 4-table max? Ugly interface?

I don't like the no instant hand history. Sucks doing email->PT, but the small stakes games are juicy.

I got this, signed up to be called today at 9:00 PM EST, and never got a call. A friend of mine also got this, signed up to be called today at 8:00, and was never called. Lame.

I'll believe it when I see it. Is there anyone out there who actually did get a call?

no call, and i made special plans to be home last night.

however, at 1.36pm today, a call came in from san fransisco on my caller id. i would imagine this was them (no message).

i sure hope they don't turn around and say we are discluded because they could not contact us, when we clearly were where we were supposed to be, when we were supposed to be there.

hmm, i just made my first negative post about paradise. i feel all grimy, but not in an unpleasant way.
