Why Neteller and not use Debit Cards?

What does everyone seem to love Neteller so much. I play on Party and I deposit using my debit card. They wire money directly into my account for cashouts....

Is it for security reasons?

Cashouts takes a few hours. Cashins are instant. You can get your money out of partypoker, and put it in stars and back to partypoker in the sames day.

tks, so if I dont care about the instant withdrawal, I guess I dont care. Are there Neteller fees?

Also, deposits work instantly with my debit card but withdrawals take a couple days which I do not ming....

Most US banks wont allow for deposits with debit cards, hence the need for Neteller.

I assume you are not from the US? We'd all do it that way if we could.

I am in the US...I have been playing for 3+ years online and none of my CC's will work but my debit card has always worked! Guess I am lucky???

I use Citizens Bank too, and they let me deposit straight into various sites. However, I have never tried withdrawing straight from the site/casino into my account. For withdrawing, I use Neteller as a middle-man.

Yeah I was able to use my Visa branded check/debit card from my credit union up until about a year ago and then the honeymoon ended [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I think there are still just a few US cards out there that will work, so if you have one, enjoy it while you can I guess.

Neteller on the other hand, its fast, you can put your money onto your neteller debit card if you need it right away and it just is a really good holding area for your money. Makes moving money between poker related things easy.

About four years ago I deposited $500 into netteller from Australia. The fees were steep about 9%.

Since then I have not needed to deposit any more money at any poker site or casino. I have a nettteller debit card and use that for all my Withdrawals. Can't cash cheques in Aus.

As an aussie playing online, netteller has been invaluable I wouldn't leave home without it.

You can deposit once and then just use your balance for all you online gaming transactions.
