Mirage No Limit $2000 Buy In. Everybody starts with $4000 in chips. Third level. $100, $200 blinds. No ante. Average stack has moved up to about $6500.
You start the hand with $2500 in chips, now down to $2300 because it is your big blind. All fold to a good player on the button who makes it $600. Small blind folds and you look down to see Ace seven suited. What's your play? |

What are people's thoughts on a stop and go if villian has around t4000-t6000? You would be pushing t1900 into a t1300 pot and you could be maximizes FE like this no?

David, What is Button's stack size? ~Justin [/ QUOTE ] This is important but for my response i will just assume he has an avergae stack (6500). I think i like calling here and pushing almost all boards. |

umm, this is a very standard push [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. I think a SNG is getting too fancy here. A lot of the hands he folds are hands we wish had called. Plus we have enough chips to have some FE preflop, so there's no need to give him a shot at outflopping us. I really can't see anything being better than pushing here. edit: DMK's too fast for me, just read his post. Steve |

umm, this is a very standard push [/ QUOTE ] In the pre-ante level, in a live tournament, I don't think it's a standard push. A 'good' player isn't planning on folding to David's allin very often. |
