3/6 AQs, 3-bet the river?
No read on UTG. Only ~60 hands on UTG+1, he seemed a bit passive and semi-loose (24/6/.5 to be exact).
I was having a hard time putting my opponents on a range of hands, and felt that the turn check/raise and cold call was really sketchy. Do I 3-bet the miracle river for value here, or just call down considering the paired board? Additionally, I also feel the flop and turn may bring up some discussion, so comments on all streets welcome Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Re: 3/6 AQs, 3-bet the river?
preflop, flop, and turn are fine
I'd call the river. UTG+1 being such a low aggression factor definatly makes me concerned here. In addition, the presence of UTG makes it even easier to call. If we are ahead and raise we probably gain 1 additional bet from UTG+1 and 0 from UTG. If we are ahead and call we probably gain 1 additional bet from UTG and 0 from UTG+1. Notice that we gain 1 bet either way. If we raise and are behind UTG+1 we probably lose 2 bets as he is capping and the pot is too big to fold. If we call and are behind UTG+1 we only lose 1 bet as he cant reraise unless UTG makes a move. |
