I'm BB and Bluthon is small blind at 3/6. I have 1100 and he covers. He has been playing pretty tight, there has been zero history between us and we've both been at the table for a while.
He raises to 20 something from SB, I raise to 68 in BB with QQ. He pops it to 225. Do I just fold? |

Sorry, I did not mean to imply that we were playing heads up, it was a full 6 max table. But the aggression just kind of came out of nowhere. I thought his range had to be pretty small. Maybe AK, AA, KK, QQ, JJ. Does this sound right for Bluthon? I have 1k hands with him and a VPIP of 21.

Push 200bb preflop with qq against a guy described as tight?
Good plan. -Mike |

![]() Yves & Grim, Why are we pushing/calling here? I can see more merit to taking a flop but this is going to be a big pot and we'll be effectively playing for stacks. If we push, we'll fold all the worse hands that would stack themselves to us while only stacking ourselves to the better hands. edit: If this confusion is from the HU, okay. But still it would be better to take a flop rather than push pre for the same former reason? |

So you are saying push because of who the player is? Would you push this against an unknown?
