1K Post (OT) - Shout Out to my MTT Mentors

Guys,

I cannot believe I have made it to 1,000 without being flamed out of the poker sky. I was reflecting on my hobby last night with a beer in one hand and the mouse in the other and realized "Hey, I don't completely suck anymore" [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img].

I feel like I'm solidly in the phase of "I know what I know & know what I still need to learn" when it comes to tournaments. However, one fact is crystal clear - this forum has been the single biggest factor to my improvement. Aspects of my game that I credit to 2+2 include:

Hand RANGE analysis

Pot equity calculations and other mathy elements (thanks, A Plus!)

managing pot sizes (playing poker)

and - oh, yeah - NOT going broke with top pair on a draw heavy board! [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

There are too many respected posters to name, but thanks anyway to all who have taken the time to patiently answer a donkenstien's question.

I fully realize that 1,000 is still pretty insignificant, but wanted to take a moment to say thanks anyway. GL at the tables!

I couldn't agree more. Thanks to the players that take the time to educate the rest of us. No one here has to share their knowledge of the game, but they do it anyway, and it is appreciated.

ill go ahead and stick one in here so i can make it to 100 posts faster. but i will also say i one day too hope to be making a post like this guys about getting better and all from reading these forums but i think im way beyond being able to be helped since i still can't figure out what that picture is next to anskys name much less the content of most peoples post but i guess oh well and anyways good job

yeah i kinda feel better. i mean at first it was really cool and i played with it a bunch but i dunno now its kinda starting to suck again as much as being a journeyman did. i think mabye its possible i have a sexua...posting addiction?

now how many more till i get a new title to show off my internet time wasting abilities and please dont say like 250 or 500 cuz it took me forever to get these 100 and i dont konw how much more time i have until the little men come to take me away again?
