Default Full Tilt software clunkyness

Just finished off the $600 bonus there. Mostly 4-tabling 3/6 and 5/10 limit.

Man, that software just wasn't working too great on my computer.
It would kind of stall out for a couple seconds while my task-manager CPU meter would peak-up to 100%.

I tried turning off PT and PAHud. Sometimes that helped a little. But not as much.
Also even turned off my McAffee virus-scan and firewall.

It remained clunky.

Every once in awhile the whole thing would freeze and I would time-out on all 4 of my tables.

I didn't see too many other players at my tables having many time-outs. So I'm wondering if it's something kind of weird with my computer and/or virus-protection software (which I always seem to be wrestling with).

Others have similar issues with the FT software?

Had the same thing a few times - it just froze for a few seconds, but it happened only several times (perhaps, when their server is busy or something) and not always.
Overall, their software is not bad.

I've also finished the deposit bonus of 600 and 2 300 reloads and cashed out all the monies a few minutes ago.

It it wasn't for the recent downswing, i would made a nice profit overall too

i have never had that kind of a problem. I play 2 or 3 tables and rarely 4. I only get that problem playing on WSEX.

Same problem here while 8-tabling+PT+PAHUD, the game freezes for a few seconds and I time out. The same problem happened at Pokerroom a few times an it's infuriating to see good hands get mucked. My computer is quite good apparently so maybe it's fulltilt. Hang on, must be fulltilt as I get disconnected often and have to wait to connect to server again.

i'm wondering if it would be fine for 2 or 3 tables but problematic for 4.

I wasn't playing less than 4 for much of my stay there as I was just trying to get through the bonus as quickly as possible.

If I do play there again it will probably just be 2 tables. And if i have the same problems I don't know if I'll be back. My computer is an Inspiron 9300 and I really don't think I should be having these kinds of problems on ANY site.

Hey Bob, if you are going to post a cursed thread, put a warning in the header!

I was playing a couple of tables at Full Tilt and surfing 2+2. At the exact time I began to read this thread I got booted off both tables with money in play and have been unable to log back in.

I sent an email to support,. 4 hours go by, and no response.

I just emailed them again, and they finally replied saying there has been some sort of issue, people getting booted etc. that hopefully will be resolved tomorrow.

We'll see if I get my money back.
