Default K2o is the nuts

$5/$10 NL live. I get out of line like this maybe three of four times during my average session.

UTG raises to $25 (pot builder raise, generally), 4 callers, and I make it $125 with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG folds and the second limper calls. He is a young kid in his early twenties. He plays a weak tight game with a propensity to slow down when scare cards appear. I have seen him made a few big calls and suspect him of running a few big bluffs but haven't seen him show down anything suspect this session.

Flop ($325ish) comes down

2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

He checks, I check.

Turn, 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img])

He leads for $200 even while staring at the board. I decide to call because I think their is a decent chance he didn't hit the board and I had been playing over cards weakly throughout the session. I could also easily play AA like this on a very dry board.

He has $1500 in his stack to start with, I cover and smother him.

River ($725ish) is K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for a board of :
2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He value bets $600. Call, raise or fold?

As he is betting he looks directly at me but doesn't smile or wink or anything. He then glances at the board, my chips and then back to me.

what beats you?
unless he's really tricky good he doesn't have a set, so KJ, K7, K3 are the only viable hand he beats you with, and being a tight player, K3 and K7 are unlikely...could he have KJ? I think he has tptk (AK or KQ) or a strong jack or nothing.
definitely not a fold. 60% call, 40% raise, but i'm a scaredy cat, so i call.

The PFR raiser was making a pot building bet (indicating a weak hand), and four players called it, indictating hands that were nothing to get excited about. Since my re-raising range was pretty tight I felt there was a good chance I could take it down preflop.

You really think Villain has a set? How has he played this hand like a set?
