Re: KQs from BB - 200NL
nice game selection...
given your uber-passive play so far in the hand (which i'm not really criticizing) and the fact that you're pretty well pot-committed having hit a K too, this is the only turn play i would recommend, as it gets the most possible money in the pot. nh, hope it worked out. |

I either pushed or was gone on the flop.

[/ QUOTE ] The turn is the only street I think I know what I'm doing. At Limit, I cap this hand on all the streets all the time. But here, I think PF call being OOP and 3way is fine? I am totally lost on the flop(SB leading and the PFR yet to act) - what do you think is a better line? Thanks. |

Re: KQs from BB - 200NL
on the flop, the first call is fine, you're getting sweet odds to draw. when the CO makes a little sissy raise and UTG reraises, you're still getting pretty decent odds to draw, so that call is fine too. now, when it gets feisty and CO bumps it to $50, you're calling $40 to win $120. Throw in the implied odds of the payoff you'll inevitably get if you make your hand (or the chance that hitting a K or Q is good too, although those arent certain by any means), and the third call is fine, I think.

I like folding the flop when CO makes it $50 I think.

With the implied odds, do you still think this should be a fold? (I did'nt know what to do, so I preferred calling ) |

Re: KQs from BB - 200NL
Flop is probably a fold since you are probably only seeing 1 card for $50. But as played which isn't so bad once and a while, I open push turn.

Re: KQs from BB - 200NL
I would raise the SB's sissy bet on the flop.
And probably fold to the 50$ as played... No proof your Queen or King is good, or flush even. But it's close. |
