i go to a club in downtown san jose (the vault) lookin good (naturally) but i'm wearing the wrong shoes cuz my idiot ass friend said it'd be fine when i said i'm just gonna go home and pick up shoes since i forgot.

so we go to the club and the bouncer doesn't let me in

i end up haggling with the bouncer and pay him off to let me in anyway (the amount is irrelevant, but it was too damn much [3 digits for a $20 cover])

after 30 minutes teh same bouncer comes into the club, finds me and throws me out. i did not get my money back.

you americans have a very stupid approach to clubbing. I'm sorry to tell you this but in other countries clubs have to do the job of getting people to go there.

In my case I'm from Argentina and there's absolutely no way I'm paying more than the cover to get into a club.
