Default what should i do? get a new lcd screen after Thanksgiving or?

so ive been a long time lurker on the 2+2 forums, and am having trouble figuring out what i should do...

so i got about 300$ and have planned out what i was going to do with it...ie..poker tracker, idle miner, sngwiz, deposit on a site ect...

my question is with the new after thanksgiving sale going on should i put off some of the software and get a new lcd screen to multi table on?? currently im running in the dark ages with a crt 16" monitor and was thinking i should invest in something that would be kind to my eye's...

or should i continue with my plan and get my "poker set up" complete?

info: $100 for an 19" lcd screen
$150 for an 22" lcd screen
at best buy

if i get a screen then i would have to hold on some of the software for abit but then again i could finish one of my books and have even more knowledge before i begin..

i plan on depositing $100ish on fulltilt or pokerstars and playing in the 2.25 sng's and roll my self on up...

any advice is welcome...

o ya +1 for first post

I think you can swing all of the following for $300

Acer 22" wide LCD (look around)
Pokertracker Hold'em
Poker Ace HUD

Doesn't leave anything for a deposit, but hey you'll be all set when you get it

If you do go with the LCD, go widescreen for sure like Gonso said. It's a HUGE help when multitabling. I could never go back.

I would probably do that first while they are on sale. Then I would set aside the next $80 I made specifically for the software and get PT as soon as you hit $55 or whatever it is now.

If you are only playing up to 4 tables, don't go widescreen. Get something 20" with 1600x1200 resoution. This lets you fit 4 tables without any overlap or resizing. Widescreen, the screen won't be tall enough to fit in 4 tables without overlap or resizing.

Having all that "stuff" is great - but then you don't have a bankroll. Play until you double it or more, and then start taking out about 20% to buy things that will improve your ROI. Prioritize your purchases according to what will do the most towards your ROI.

Just my opinion:

Poker tracker will ultimately generate a positive return on investment. As will PAHUD.

New monitor, no effect unless you do actually multi table with it. If you multi table it will probably be a negative return on investment.
