I would have raised the flop for hopes of a free card / being still best (many aggro players just donk any prd board because they assume it has missed you as well or they want to vb their 55 or whatever, often checking the turn when getting called in two spots) / driving out SB.

As played, it has just gotten a wee uglier for you. Given the stakes, I think a fold is thin, but best. Disregarding the FD, you have 4 solid outs and anywhere from 1.5-3 OC outs (discount a bit more because of the str8 thread the K's put on the board). That would give you just about the right price to see a river. Discount all of those outs for the additional flush thread, however, would make me believe you don't quite get the 6.5ish outs you need.

I toss it the 3rd spade just made your overs even more dirty. I think a flop raise is a decent idea if the table is pretty passive.

Raise that Flop! HU is better than 3way .
Fold that turn.

i fold the turn.

i do not raise the flop. what is the point of getting HU with A-high? are we really taking a free card if we do get it HU? what can possibly fold on this flop that we would like to fold?

It's a fold, there could be straights, flushes, good draws, two pair....

Fold turn. It completely devalues your hand.

IMO the call on the flop is pretty thin. It's very possible that you are already up against trips or full house and likely that you are dominated.

I agree with this. I used to autoraise a lot of draws for the free card, but when people are donking this flop, it's often with a hand better than mine and I'm isolating them with a weaker hand. I generally only raise draws now if my hand has some deception and/or I definitely want to see the river, such as the usual case with a nut flush draw. In this hand, there are a bunch of turn cards I don't want to see such as a queen, jack, nine, eight or a spade, plus I don't actually know which of my outs are good. Also, by checking the turn, I think you give your hand away, but will still have to call down with a losing hand at times (or do this with stronger hands) to avoid people autobetting/bluffing you on the river.

So, as played, I call the flop, fold the turn.

I will not raise the flop, you are only isolating with a weaker + potential dominated hand. yuk!
