Ok, so I shouldn\'t have called pf...
... but seeing as I did, can we focus on the action thereafter. It's the river I wondered about mainly, but any other flaws along the way?

dont lead flop...hell never give you credit for an ace and probably has one by how he played it..easy call on river

call river, this can be any # of Ax
also boats and flushes, but you will be good often enough to call here |

Does Ax ever shove when the flush hits on the river? By the way the hand played out he may as well be playing with his cards face up. I would almost never expect to be ahead here.

you only need to be good about 1/4 of the time, i think w/o a read you may very well be good that often

Re: Ok, so I shouldn\'t have called pf...
It's sure that on the flop, you're trying to win the pot and on the turn you're calling out of odds. Smile you hit on the riv. The problem i see is that even if you hit your str8 or flush in these kind of hand, you may still be facing a tough decision later in the hand because you can be against a monster and still be way behind.
My point is that you got to be carefull when your chasing something that can already be beated. -Ok p-flop. -Ok flop -I would check and fold the turn because you're beating nothing and villains range is kind of large. -In this situation, I would call the riv, he's got a good ace, hope he did not boat it, and I'm pretty sure his jaw will drop when he will see your flush. |

Re: Ok, so I shouldn\'t have called pf...
He already had the boat or he's got one now. If he's half-way decent he'll know your check/call on the turn means you had a draw, especially after you showed strength on flop and showed complete weakness on turn. Don't forget the outside chance he has a bigger flush. I just don't see your hand being good here.
