Hey,
I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for general life practices to avoid getting sick. I'm mainly talking about getting colds, the flu, etc. (ie nothing severe), but other suggestions wouldn't hurt. What I have so far: Staying well hydrated Multi vitamin Getting exercise/staying in shape Getting enough sleep every night Others? |

Fish oil is a good supplement to use. All the others you listed are good though - get lots of fruits/vegetables.

I think getting enough sleep is really huge. We don't need to get germs from outside to get sick. We carry them with us. It only matters when our immune system gets depressed.

Stay away from other people, especially in close quarters.
Practice good food safety techniques and don't eat out, especially if you don't trust the establishment's food safety. |
