Guys with $$ get more girls?

This seems to be the common belief held around here, yet I have never seen it in real life.

All the girls I meet and know seem to be of the same opinion: Guys who flaunt wealth come across as insecure and unattractive. Being successful (e.g. having a cool job or being talented) is attractive , but simply posessing cash or driving cool car does very little.

Are my friends in the minority, or are 2p2ers out of touch?

Or maybe guys who get girls tend to be confident because of that. Guys who start out confident but are [censored] on by girls lose that confidence. The guys who don't care about that will just keep trying and eventually try with enough girls that they will find one desperate/stupid enough to take him.

Agreed, confidence definitely helps, but you can't put confidence on a turd sandwich and expect it to get girls. On the other side, you take a mack daddy, and of course he is going to be confident. He has chicks all over them.

But chicks definitely dig guys that could get any other girl.

kurosh was pretty accurate. I mean to me $$$ is pretty far down on the list. I clearly dont want to date someone who works at McDonalds and has no money at all so I have to pay for everything when we go out. But on the other hand, I think I'd be pretty uncomfortable w/ a rich guy who was throwing around money doing fancy things. I dont know that I'd fit in, in a hoity toity environment.

Humor, kindness, and intelligence is far more important to me than $$$.

All other things equal, guys w/ more $$ definitely get more girls. Part of this has to do with the fact that a lot of those guy also happen to be more successful, powerful, confident, etc. Part of it has to do w/ the fact that a lot of women like having a guy who can provide them w/ financial security.

And put an ugly dweeb w/ $$$ and no personality against a good-looking, confident, interesting artistic guy w/ no $$$ and the $$$ won't get it done with many girls.

Anyway, I thought this was common knowledge: In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.
