Note: I play 2/4 online and 6/12 live
I've seen a full ring 80+vpip player go nuts and type in the chat box that they can't win because everyone always calls. The same thing happens live. Really bad loose players complain about the other bad loose players. Here's what I don't understand: They usually don't target me. I'll take a loose players money with a decent draw or a strong hand and they don't mind very much. Sometimes I even get complimented for playing well. |

I'm not exactly sure why this is either.
I can tell you that in my first month of playing (this was online at pokerstars) when I couldn't even remember whether a flush beat a full-house I would get very frustrated with the beats and gave quite a few, "LOL. Nice catch." So I think it might have something to do with the frustration of being a losing player and the losses adding up and leading to more tiltish thoughts...versus the understanding one has as a winning player that you are never entitled to win on any specific hand and that sometimes your opponents catch a card, and sometimes they don't. But if they catch on you, well, you can get 'em next time and you get to remain assured of the knowledge that you are, indeed, playing a winning game that will work out for you in the long-run. |

Sometimes I even get complimented for playing well. [/ QUOTE ] What's funny is that they usually won't compliment you when you are running bad, but playing well. It's usually in relation to your stack. One reason they don't target me is because I'm usually on the receiving end of the beats. Sometimes it doesn't really click with them as to 'why' that is so. Anyways, to the question... Because they only see themselves as the 'player'. Somewhat of a pitgame mentality, among other ego crap. b |

[/ QUOTE ]just view image location.... http://www.diane-lane.org/gallery/al...shoots-005.jpg it comes from Diane-Lane.org, my guess is Diane Lane [/ QUOTE ] According to one of Bernie's other posts, it is. However, here's one picture that lowers her sexiness for me. EDIT to stay on topic: [ QUOTE ] I find it's the nitty 11/3's that wait on AA that are the worst. [/ QUOTE ] They just don't play enough hands to even out the variance. Just the other day a rainbow 4-straight hit the board on the turn and the old guy to my right complains as he check-folds top set to a bet and a raise. "Can you believe my luck?" he complains, as the river pairs the board. |

Why do the loosest players complain the most about bad beats? [/ QUOTE ] Because they get the greatest number of them. |
