Default $20 to whoever solves this connection problem

The problem is i can't connect to PP, PS, MSN or certain sites, fulltiltpoker.com, microsoft.com and myspace.com for example, everything else works fine.

$20 payable on any pokersite i'm able to connect to once solved! Sent w/ many thanks. First person's advice that works wins, BUT i'm letting this run for a few hours and trying what i feel is most revelant first, so that'll be the order.

Details:

Connected to wireless belkin router.
Through vista laptop.
Another laptop will however connect to all these sites.
In the past lowering the MTU has fixed this, however at 1400 now it's not.
The sites that wont load wont load in either browser.

Well anyways it's too complicated to understand your problem, the way you explained it sounds like you can't even connect to your sites when you go to a net cafe and use one of their computers.

Your problem is really poorly explained in that post. Is it just your laptop that you're having problems with? Are you running IE or firefox? Can you connect to some websites but not to others? Are you connecting the computer directly to the modem or going through a router?

traceroute is timing out for me too at the same node.

Did you change the mtu of your laptop or the mtu of the belkin device? mtu is still the most likely cause.
