Jesus, what happened preflop? I hate river. I'd rather just check/fold. I think c/c might be the next best option (I think it's not very good) and I don't see the point in betting because his hand does not contain a pair and he's not folding a diamond. Of the hands that don't contain a pair or a diamond you beat every one except AK.

I think pf is close between the call and the threebet, so really you just have to do what you think strategically will work out best for you on the flop. (IOW, do you or do you not want initiative from oop into 3) The answer kind of depends on if you hit the flop or not, so yay poker.

Given that, a flop checkraise may be a better play to isolate yourself against CO's pf iso range (which you're ahead of enough) unless you think the awful player will call two cold with overs. If they will, then I like the check/call.

fourflushed river, small pot, oop, weak made hand - checking and probably folding seems the best option. Betting won't fold any pairs and will get you bluffraised by worse hands in a spot you won't want to call.

yeah guru pretty much captured my thoughts on pf and flop. I'm usually 3betting pf but sometimes just call, I think it's close but most flops I'm popping the pfr and isolating then. this seemed like a bad flop though because these two freaks will call here with an over and a bdfd.

dunno what i'm thinking on the river except OMG HE'LL FOLD AK

I really think you are missing value preflop.
- CO should know MP sucks and raise him with a lot of weaker A's.
- Also if you call it will get 4-way a lot. Are you sure CO will c-bet every flop that misses him? Obviously he bet this one, but that seems reasonable with a good A. You dont think flop checks through a lot?

Oh, and why is it bad if the 2 donks calls your flop raise cold with 6 outs each?

i dunno why people think this flop is so great, I don't think so. if I'm ahead I'm dodging the deck and my redraws are tainted, and if I'm behind I'm being 3bet and who knows how many outs are good. yeah they're donks but I'm not sure I'm a huge money favorite if at all on this flop 4-way.

Didnt mean to imply that the flop was an easy raise. Just trying to say that in my opinion the EV difference between raising and calling is minimal.

I PStoved it and got that you have 28% equity 4-way, but you have 58% equity if you get it HU with pfr. Obv that doesn't tell the whole story (since if you manage to get it HU with pfr then its likely that your equity 4-way was much greater). However I think it debunks your notion that this isn't a good flop.

It's possible my range for the pfr is too wide, I was using my own likely range:
55+,A6s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,A8o+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo

I actually think a bet might fold a pair on the river. The problem is that he has a pair like never.
