What is the typical but in for the pink chip game and what do people normally sit with. All pinks or all reds or both?

One to two racks of pinks. The cage is like 20 feet away usually where you can pick up some sharp unused $2.50s

I would say the most common buy-in is around $300. Six stacks of pink. But you can chew through this pretty quickly in this type of game. Also, people who bring red chips onto the pink chip table annoy the hell out of me.

Most people I have seen (and myself) usually buy in for a rack, $250. It is a little shorter than ideal, but cash on the table plays so if you get a little short you can take out an extra hundred or two and put them under your chips, or buy a short reload from the dealer.

When I was there about a year and a half ago they had a 10/20 limit game going sometimes, but when I was there a few weeks ago they didn't even have an interest list for it, and this was Saturday evening when you'd think demand would be greatest, so I think it is at least mostly dead. Never seen at least one pink game going though, and sometimes up to 4 tables.

It is primarily a low limit room - up through 10-20 FL and 2-5 NL. Occasionally they get a bigger game going but that is rare. Game selection of low limit games is usually good. FWIW it has been over a year since I was last there.

Does the pink chip game still run?

BTW, Trop's lighting in the poker room sucks.
