Thoughts on Eddie Lampert?
I've been doing a bit of reading on this fellow recently and, as I'm sure many of you know, he is compared very favorably to Warren Buffett, etc.
His track record is certainly impressive up to this point but there are many people skeptical about what he's doing with Sears. Now, to hear Jim Cramer and others tell it you should be investing heavily in SHLD because this guy is a super-genius, best investor of this generation, blah blah. Bottom line, what are your general feelings about his skills as an investor, his current and future situation with Sears, and your thoughts about investing, essentially, in what one man can potentially do. Thanks |

Lampert, Schmampert
He's no Buffet. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Cramer gets into a lot of trouble one day over all of his ranting and raving hype. |

Re: Thoughts on Eddie Lampert?
He's a true investing genius. His value creation has been totally beyond amazing. He's generated $tens of billions of value for himself and his investors [and shareholders.]
He will go down as one of the top 5 alltime greats is my best guess. |
