Re: Games get tougher the higher you play 100 Stud 8
This isn't nearly as bad as it looks assuming seat 4 had enough of a draw to keep him involved on 5th. He had to bet through the river to fold out busted A-high low hands. When the guy raises he's getting 4.3-1 for the high end, which is more than enough considering the other guy's board and the action. The other guy will have Q high with a random low way more than 1 out 5 times here.

Re: Games get tougher the higher you play 100 Stud 8
It looks typical for games that are getting heads up on third street. It appears that seat4 is betting seat1's board. I'm hoping that seat4 showed down 77 for his half--if he had JJ, I'll be gravely dissapointed in him.

Seat 4 called the raise with KQ high and the other guy scooped with his 7 low and A high. |

Re: Games get tougher the higher you play 100 Stud 8
What were Seat 4's hole cards? If he had 68 or spades then I could see continuing on 5th but it's pretty hard to justify calling 5th and just pure bluffing both 6th and 7th street.

Re: Games get tougher the higher you play 100 Stud 8
ive played regularly anywhere from .50/1 to 5/10 and a few times 10/20 or 30/60 on stars, and i gotta say, from 5/10 up the games where alot more raising and seemilingy easier to beat...everytime i played at 5/10 i won and 6/7 times i won at 10/20. People will reraise on the river with 2 pairs and stuff like that when u board has 4 to a low straight. Seems like they are just richer donks. The 3/6 games to me seem the most fundamentally sound

Looks pretty standard, except seat 4's ridiculous call on the end not beating ace high.
