Stars $12 180 turbo
another let's try to get the most value from a donk line check...I think my flop flat call of check raise was good but not sure if I should have raised turn...on one hand it would help build the pot so a river shove would work but we risk losing him if he's on air...thoughts? I think you should excluded that UTG+1 fold at the end, because now my mind is all clouted. My spite for your opponent is going to clout my judgement. Lots of clout and spite.
I think you need to push this turn because you optimize your chances of representing a whiffed flush after flat calling the flop. I agree on calling the flop because if you push here, KJ / weaker pairs may leave. If he has the flush draw, well, that sucks, you could have gotten all your money in. I dunno - this is a weak point in my game, but call/push turn seems good to me. Barry |

Lol you should minraise the turn. I wish I was joking, but considering stack sizes, and the fact that villain did it on the flop, I think that's actually the best play.

Lol you should minraise the turn. [/ QUOTE ] I agree, if not a min raise then some sort of small pot sweetener...now you can squeeze a bigger river bet out of him, or he may even push. -ZEN |

lol thats what i was thinking. Yea I probably minraise the turn always there. There is like no hand he folds to a minraise. Plus minraise just gets more money in the pot, and the more money there is in the pot the more likely he is to bluff the river or donk it up or w/e

too bad you can't check/minraise the turn. That would show him!...
I think a min-raise on the turn would be trying to provoke an agressive response, some people are kind of mindless that way. My thinking would be, "If he's lame enough to think c-m/r is a good idea, he'll probably think my m/r is weakness" Regards Gar |

thanks all...most of my moves in the hand were built on the premise he had air rather than even a draw...remember that he called a 4X preflop raise...my guess was a pp and I think if I come to life on the turn I risk him realizing AK is in my range...not sure but figured it was a good hand to discuss extraction lines
