Default What is ________\'s bankroll????

Of course we can never really know what it really is but make a ballpark guess? I really have no idea what they may be but maybe some people here can give those of us who dont have any idea what they are.

I would guess that say, Phil Ivey for instance has $6-$8 million in liquid poker money.... Is that even close?

But barry is rich off of other things unrelated to poker and donates his tourney winnings to charity, so his numbers are skewed.....

Many bankrolls that you assume are $0-$10 are more like -$50,000 or -$100,000

Iknow a few mid-level pros who need to win at least a $2k event just to get pay off debts. Dont we all?

From pokerverdict and, of course, very old news:

Veteran Norwegian player Thor Hansen has the right idea though. When asked in the documentary No Limit: A Search for the American Dream on the Poker Tournament Trail what he would do if he won a million dollars he gives the standard reply, “ Maybe buy a few things and pay off a couple of debts”. He is then asked, “What about the rest?” to which he replies, “Well, I’d just tell them they’d have to wait”.

Best poker line not delivered by Mr. Gabe Kaplan.

Didn't Barry say in his book that this is a big myth with him? That he was just a peon at Symantec and almost all of his wealth came from poker?
