HU with 2 overcards and a BDFD. I'd raise the flop, and check behind on the turn.
If villian 3-bets the flop, I'd call and fold the turn UI. If villian calls the flop raise and donks the turn, I'd fold. If villian calls the flop raise, checks the turn, and then checks the river, I'd value bet the river. Edit: Ok, ignore all the above, I thought we had position here. OOP, I think it looks good. |

c/c the flop
c/f the turn 3 bet pf and OOP, WA/WB scenario, leaning heavily towards the way behind. Just drop it and two more cards will be dealt. Maybe even fold the flop actually. Even if we hit our outs, they may not be good. |

Looks OK to me. Or you might even check/fold the flop if MPI is competent.

You need a read to justify doing anything else. Such a read might also lead you to cap preflop.

Without reads I play it the same.

This isn't really a semibluffing hand because most hands you could conceivably get a fold from are actually worse than yours.

(grunching after a long break, for fun)
this is the standard line and at this limit, it's a good one. |

AQo can be folded from OOP even preflop if someone 3-bets and it’s going to be HU, but at these limits call might be in order, but I wouldn’t consider folding preflop as a bad move either. Reraiser is on MP1, so this is unlikely an isolation raise, so usually this means a premium hand. Naturally, if you’re playing against known maniac, then you should consider capping preflop, but I don’t think this is the case here, because everybody else respected his raise.
I think that you should check/fold on the flop even if you thought that your call preflop was justified. You missed the flop pretty totally, you have only 3rd nut backdoor flush draw and two over cards. I can’t see how it is possible to continue any further when another blank comes on the turn. I don’t quite understand where there is a chance to make a semibluff? Excluding the raise preflop, by betting/raising we would be making a total bluff, not a semibluff. |
