200 NL, flopped trips against tight raiser, call or raise?
CO has really nitty stats, like 14/11.
Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $201.80 Hero (BB): $211.60 UTG: $295.20 MP: $258.65 CO: $196.40 BTN: $53.55 Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) 2 folds, CO raises to $6.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $4.00 Flop: ($13) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, CO bets $8.00, Hero raises to $31.00, CO raises to $60.00 Obviously I'm not worried about him having a better hand, but should I call or raise here? He re-raised so small that he's not committed to the pot yet. As dumb as it sounds, could he be 3-betting an overpair to test if I have the 6, folding to a 4-bet? |

of course he could be.
if you want to play tricky, you can call quick and check a non spade turn. standard is pushing of course. |

Yeah I'm stupid.
I shoved and immediately regretted it. He folded. I think I missed a ton of value if he had a big pair. |

Shoooove. Too many turn cards will kill your action and he could even have a hand like AKcc. No need to get tricky here, just a super simple value shove.

Pot is $133 if you call, villain will have $130 left behind, I think i'd push. There are a ton of scare cards (overs, clubs) that could kill action.

Well if I shove now I'm announcing that I have trips or better, but if I call he might think I'm on a flush draw since he gave me such good odds to chase.

He's not giving great odds to a draw where he could easily say there is no way you would push a draw in this spot and ignore the free drawing odds; but I see what you're saying. If he's folding JJ and maybe QQ, and because we're closing the betting he may not call with a big draw; calling may have been best.

shoving here seems fairly standard. I don't really expect him to fold after reraising my checkraise.
