what\'s more +ev
playing 10,000 hands a week on tables with at least one very bad opponent sitting no worse than across the table from him or 20,000 hands a week w/o any table selection?
If it makes a difference, I play mostly short-handed. |

Re: what\'s more +ev
I'm just guessing but in my oppinion it would be more +EV to play twice as many hands without table selection. Especially since you'll end up on a bunch of soft tables anyway.

Re: what\'s more +ev
I think because you play shorthanded, the very bad opponent can make a huge difference. One bad opponent can be the sole profit generator of an entire table.
Besides, I'm lazy and would rather play 10,000 hands rather than 20,000 if the profit will not be too much different. |

[/ QUOTE ] The problem is that I am often stuck playing just a couple tables at time or even quitting to come back later. I think the lazier thing to do would be to forgo table selection all together. In my case, I probably am one of the pickiest seat takers on this entire forum; I'm sure it's great for my SD and winrate but my total profits might be taking a hit. On the other hand, maybe my buddy list just isn't big enough. |
