25/50NL hand
25/50NL, 5/6 handed game. I'm UTG+1. I have about 7.5k. I open to 175, folded to SB (10k+) who repops to 600. BB who has 7-8k calls cold. I have KTh and call.
Flop: KQT all diamonds. SB bets 1450, BB folds. What do you do? I called. Turn 2h, SB bets 3k. What do you do? About SB: loves to reraise preflop & squeeze. His reraise-squeeze range is big hands and suited connectors (doesnt reraise small/mid pairs i think). He seems to play well, I think he's a winning player. |

Re: 25/50NL hand
this seems like a race / wb situation to me... i mean you can call and call a safe river, the problem is that he can't really put you on KK/QQ here and can probably discount TT somewhat.
tbh, i don't like preflop, but thats obv not why you posted, so as played, i think i would toss it, the only thing i could see you beating is sometihng like AdKx, which i think we can discount given the turn bet. also, him leading into a squeezer on that board is rarely a semi-bluff i would think given his position, likelihood AdXx shoves and preflop action... |

Re: 25/50NL hand
what do you mean leading into a squeezer? I'm saying the SB likes to reraise preflop and squeeze (although in this particular situation he is not squeezing, just reraising)

Re: 25/50NL hand
flop looks good, turn i would fold. I would be pretty surprised if he doesn't have you dead/ drawing to 2 or 4 outs.

Re: 25/50NL hand
after bb coldcalls i'd probably fold this pre, even with deep stacks. I think you're in a dominated spot too often, even though you dont have to stack off top pair when you hit it, you're gonna get into bad situations a whole lot. but its not a huge deal one way or another, so long as you play well the rest of the way. i'd also consider 4-betting here pre, because it looks so strong after the coldcall (and their ranges are about as weak as they can be in this spot), and because you can easily get away from it if you take any more heat.
Flop I think is def a call. Turn I think I would fold. I don't like where this is heading, and I don't think you're deep enough to bluff him off a set by shoving. |

Re: 25/50NL hand
I'm thinking his most likely holdings are QQ or AdAx/AdKx. Maybe maybe JdJx. Tough tough spot, and i think the hand is played fine to the turn, but like DJ said, I don't like where this is heading.
I'm actually leaning towards a shove, but you better be good friends with variance before that play. Folding is ok too. |

Re: 25/50NL hand
Are we putting him on a flush a good chunk of the time here? If not, then how are we going to behave differently if the same flop comes 2 tone or rainbow and we are faced with the same bets?

[/ QUOTE ] TT is alot diff 'cause if he has a flush/straight we have wayyyyyyyyyy more outs. I'd fold turn in hand given, TT would be sick tough spot but i might lay it also depending on villain |
