Which sites block u from playing at same table as someone u xfer $ to?
I've been doing quite a few interaccount transfers with people (see that other thread), and something I really didn't contemplate is whether it means that I'll be unable to play at the same cash game tables as the people that I swap with. I know Party has a feature where they won't even let you sit at the same table with someone who has ever logged in from the same computer that you have, or who you have transferred money with.
But to this point, I haven't seen (I don't think) any other site that has something similar -- but I could be wrong. So does anyone know whether other sites (I'm esp interested in Stars / FTP, and to a lesser extent Absolute) have policies that might hamper my ability to play at any table I want merely because I've swapped money with someone also sitting? And if the answer is yes, has anyone had any success getting the poker site to "lift" the restriction? e.g. I remember once trying to get Party to lift the association between a friend any myself cuz we were both big 15/30 multitablers at the time, and it was maddening to sometimes not be able to sit at a ton of tables -- thank god he went busto and that annoyance didn't last long. But they refused to budge. WOndering if other sites (if they do in fact have similar restrictions) are equally strict. |

Tribeca Tables (Doyles, VC) used to have this feature. Makes lots of sense... why would you let potencial scammers play together.. imagine a bunch of morons playing from a cafe scamming everyone...

Re: Which sites block u from playing at same table as someone u xfer $
This is probably a good feature of sites that use it. Otherwise, it would be way too easy for somebody to transfer a few friends some $$$ and try and gang up on a table from different computers (obv. collusion).
I don't see what the big deal is about not being able to sit at a cash game as someone you transfer $$$ too. |

Being that I have done quite a few trades also I can say that I have never been restricted from sitting at any tables on any site due to the transferring funds.
