SB is 66/3.5/0.32 over 53 hands
MP2 is 90/11/0.44 over 40 hand Hand sample is small, but it represents how sb & especially mp play! Party Poker 0.15/0.30 Hold'em (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises, 2 folds, MP2 calls, 2 folds, SB calls, 1 fold. Now looking back at this hand, maybe i would play it a little different, but my 2 main questions go for turn and river play. 1. turn play: would you reraise after we hit TPGK 2. river play: i feel that reraise is ok, with hitting 2nd nut hand, but then a player with total AF of 0.44 3 bets. I guess call and expect to loose is standard in such situation? Would anyone cap river? |

I wouldnt worry to much about this hand. Bad beats happens. Just dont fold.
Raise turn, calling or capping the river is sort of meh doesnt matter much... MP2 is def aggro enough to play a lower flush like this. |

wow, I never get this have this many outs unless im playing omahaHL.
you can cap the river, if he got there with nut flush then well it sucks to be you but I this sort of player is going to be 3banging ANY flush in this spot. Maniacs dont need the nuts to go nuts with so I ride the variance wave and cappit but it doenst matter than much. [ QUOTE ] but then a player with total AF of 0.44 3 bets [/ QUOTE ] I need to comment on this because not all stats are created equal. Aggression factors are directly affected by how many hands people play. High VPIPers have low Aggression factors, not because they arent betting alot but because they are calling with alot more hands than you or i. In this case this guy is playing 90% of his hands so he is going to be calling alot with weak/junk hands in a desperate bid to hit a hand....all these calls will dilute his aggression factor. 0.44 would be ultrapassive for a tight player but it really isnt that passive for someone who plays any two. |

Wow, so many outs.
I would cap this any day. You are going to run into that A-high flush every once in a while but I think they 3barrel with any flush here. Cap that, you'll usually have the best of it. |

grunching:
preflop: raise for value flop: raise/ cap for value, you have more than 15outs 2 times. turn: little ugly because AQ makes a straight so with half of your outs the pot may be divided and a 9 may be no good anymore, but you are still drawing to 2nd nut flush so raise turn for value against 2 callers. cap river: 2nd nut flush, 2 callers, you need only to win 1 out of three to break even. as shown: nice hand sir! |
