Re: $5FR -Playing a draw on the flop. Standard?
You're behind if he's got trips:
Board: 2s 7h 8h Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 42.121% 42.12% 00.00% 417 0.00 { 9h6h } Hand 1: 57.879% 57.88% 00.00% 573 0.00 { 7d7s } And slightly behind if he's got a suited A: Board: 2s 7h 8h Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 45.152% 45.15% 00.00% 447 0.00 { 9h6h } Hand 1: 54.848% 54.85% 00.00% 543 0.00 { Ah3h } Your description of villain makes it sound like he hit a set and since he didn't raise preflop he probably doesn't have a big pair. Still, he's the BB checking so he could have anything including a straight draw or two pair that he's raising. Because of this I think you made the right play. I'm always trying to get it AI when I flop an OESFD. |
