Swiss Chalet - A Canada Thing?

My favorite part of the holiday season is the "Festive Special" at Swiss Chalet. Is Swiss Chalet big in the U.S.? I don't think I've ever seen one in the U.S., but I spent all of my time in NY, Chicago, and LV.

i ordered a barbeque chicken sandwich from swiss chalet once when some coworkers were ordering from there. i got a piece of dry chicken breast on a white bun with a little tub of barbeque sauce on the side. no lettuce, no tomato and i had to assemble it myself? you go die swiss chalet, seriously.

Yeah, at SC you want to go with the old reliable: quarter chicken, white meat, fries, happiness. (Although I must admit that in my old age I have subbed veggies for fries because I don't want to be fat.)

With your chicken/side/dinner roll, you also get stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a little box Lindt chocolates.

Drool...although it used to be a full size toblerone when i was a kid.

I believe they have them in Florida too but apparently they're pretty crummy down there.

Whoever compared Swiss Chalet to Boston Market should die in a grease fire.
