25/50 blind battle spot - standard fold?
I'm shortstacking the game because I've ran out of funds on this particular site (again ). Anyway, effective stacks 4k, and no particular read on Villain, as I'm new to the site, but he has an 18k stack fwiw.
5 handed, folded to SB who makes it 170. I call in BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Flop Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Pot 340 He bets 300, I call. Turn Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Pot 950 He bets 900 I call River 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Pot 2750 He shoves, pretty much exactly one PSB to me. |

I fold, pretty sure you are never getting bluffed here as an unknown

Re: 25/50 blind battle spot - standard fold?
Raise pf (you've got position and a hand that definately should be raised).. Sometimes I raise the flop if I know how to respond to shoves/calls but without a read calling is better. Calling the Turn is standard, could make an argument for raising with a certain image if you expect him to call you with worse jacks but the solid line is to call again. River is a very dirty card. He could always have QX, 22, KK-AA or the flush (also a dozen bluffs). Without a read this is a clear fold.
Keep in mind this hand is very very opponent/read dependant so with the stuff you provided here there isn't much we can work with. |
