Default Early Week 2 NFL Picks

NO -3 @ Bucs
Eagles -7 vs Wash
Bears -12 vs KC
Miami +3.5 vs Boys (I'm unsure about this bet.)
Minn +3 @ Lions
Jags -10.5 vs Atl
GB -1 @ NYG
Tenn +7.5 vs Indy (I'm a little unsure about this one. Indy looked real good against NO, but the Titans tend to play well at home and raise their game against Indy).)

i'd stay away from the Indy game....Tenn isn't a super great team and its hard to say that Indy won't come in and just clean blow them out of the water...hard to say.

Eagles -7 and Jags -10.5 would make me a little uneasy.

Also, I'd go the other way on that Dolphins-Cowboys game. Cowboys -3.5 is a great bet IMO, especially if they get CB Terrance Newman back for the game.

I like Miami +3.5 & the Bears -12...
No real opinion on the others.

Anyone like Oakland +10? Culpepper is getting the start.

I would say no. I think the Bills offense is considerably better than the Raiders no matter who is QB, and they scored 7 on offense at home. The Raiders D really needs to play a hell of a game to keep that one close.
It's possible I'm bitter that Oakland hurt me last week though.

IMHO, the Vikings +3 looks like a sucker bet. I'm inclined to take Detroit.

Meh, I doubt that the public will be on the Vikings there. If the distribution of Week 1 picks mean anything, there is a perception that the Lions are the better team I think.

I thought I was the only one who liked Minny this year.

CIN -6.5 (soon to be 7) @ CLE
Cleveland could not stop Pittsburgh and Cincy has a much better offense. I don't think home turf will be enough to overcome ocho cinco.

NO -3.5 @ TB
Even if you like Garcia, he got lit up last year by New Orleans when he had better receivers and a better line. Also, Cadillac is not 100%.

DAL -3.5 @ MIA
Miami could not stop the redskins. Nuff said.

OAK +9.5 @ DEN
This is the shakiest bet I'm taking this week. Oakland is much better than last year and I feel that Denver is slightly weaker. Oakland lost by 10 last year in Denver and the game in Oakland was within 3. Jordan is healthy. Culpepper is not as awful as a lot of people think. I also feel that Denver's offense is lackluster and Oakland's defense is still pretty good despite Kitna lighting up the 2ndary last week.

The money line on SD (+170) is not bad, but it's close whether SD wins that 37%+ of the time.

Currently 2/3 (+.818 units) on the season.

Edit: Cincy has a much better offense, not defense than Pit.
