Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG calls, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 raises</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero 3-bets</font>, 5 folds, UTG calls, <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 caps</font>, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2SB, 3 players)

Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (1BB, 2 players)

River: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (18.70BB, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 bets</font>, Hero calls.

Results:
Final pot: 18.70BB

UTG+1 shows [Kd Ah] (two pair, Aces and Kings)
Hero shows [Kh As] (two pair, Aces and Kings)

This was at a .25/.5 table, I dont know what is wrong with the conversion but the hand still was a played as shown. Did I play the turn and river correctly?

I am ok with how u played it, but I am curious if anyone would simply call the turn bet. Villain likes his hand even with a K out there, and still likes it when the Ace falls. This leads me to think we are either chopping this pot or behind to AA or KK. I am discounting a set other than Kings because I doubt 77 orr 66 is capping PF. What other hands but AA, KK or AK would play this the way villain played it?

We'd need a read on villain to say.

* grunch *

I usually work under the "bet top pair until you're told you're beat" approach. I think the villan's 3-bet on the flop here is a sign that top pair might not be good. So, I call down from there.

Although the Ace on the turn helps our hand, it doesn't improve to beat the set that villan may have had on the flop. I wouldn't rule out 77 or 66, but it is more likely KK, AA or AK.

The flop cap is bad. I just call the 3-bet there.

I'd still raise the turn, though, no matter how the flop was played. Calling the 3-bet and then calling the river is appropriate.

I'm not capping flop and not raising the turn (assuming villain plays normal). U beat approximately zero hands in his range but u lose against 6.
