Pretty draw, probably super standard
All my hands from tonight's session were boring results wise, and I see no reason to post some stupid 2 outter questions, so this one seemed like the best since I got happy nuts feelings on this hand.
I always raise this UTG, I assume raising preflop for flush/straight value alone is standard from BB. I also assume turn is fine since I become open ended. Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Re: Pretty draw, probably super standard
I like it. The turn bet turned out well. I'd like to hear whether others think the value we get from it is worth the risk of a raise. PF is very neutral EV wise IMO

Re: Pretty draw, probably super standard
I think the bet on the turn is worth the risk of a raise. Noone has shown any aggression yet so we shouldn't really fear it. As long as two people call it's +EV, so I think it's a pretty high percentage play.
Preflop I don't like. We probably have a very slight edge with this hand, but raising here cuts our postflop edge too much. By bloating the pot, opponents will be making less of a mistake by calling down. Plays which may have been mistakes without the raise may actually now cost you money by being correct. KJs is generally the lowest hand I raise in this situation. |
