expecting to beat what? yeah the pot odds look great but villain's range is owning us
edit: villain is passive, low pfr%, so i don't think he's drawing often enough to call this. |

an UTG raise, and a call of a 3 bet. I don't think he is pulling this crap with top pair here.. SET or overpair here almost always.
therefore...I would most likely fold |

Best case he has a combodraw against which you are a flip. But i doubt he will have that very often here.

expecting to beat what? yeah the pot odds look great but villain's range is owning us [/ QUOTE ] Well yeah, we're behind more than 50% of the time probably. That said, we 3 bet donk, get decent flop, then he pushes all in over our flop bet. So obviously he doesn't have set. This type of sneaky donk doesnt do this with AA. So we're worried about the KK/QQ which are fairly likely. However, he can also have AT/A9/QJ/JT/87/AcKc/AcQc/AcJc. So if he has something like that 25% of time, and air 10%, the call is good. |

i'm not following why he can't have a set here. also, villain is passive so i could see the call of our pf rr w/QQ+.
