Where to fold top pair?

This felt like I was spewing calling down.
Did I go to far on flop?
What is the best line here?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, CO caps, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

When you get capped on the flop, I'm thinking you're probably beat. But I would call down.

Disclaimer: I've never played 0.5/1 6-max.

CO had stats of about 40/10/1 over 50 hands
I was thinking I should fold the turn, but wasn't sure. Would calling down from the initial raise be better or was the fop 3 bet correct?

This makes a better ace somewhat less likely (Villain didn't raise preflop), although aces up is certainly possible.

A set is another possibility, but I'm seeing a showdown.

[img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] Villain probably has an ace. It's probably better than ours. But I think we'll have the best hand or make the best hand often enough to call down.

Sometimes, instead, he'll have aces up and will get counterfeited before the river and we'll get bailed out that way. A hand like 74s, which could also get counterfeited, is possible.

Or maybe Villain is making up for his missed action preflop and has QQ.

I don't think there's much wrong with this. I don't think there's much wrong with folding the turn either. I like your flop play.

I dunno, seems like a really dry board. I'm not sure I like the flop 3bet, particularly if we plan on folding never to further aggression.
