a few things i hate about movies
i don't go to many movies in the theater, but i went to see the simpsons movie tonight. i guess in the rare event that i do go to a movie theater to watch a film, it's usually something rated R. the simpsons was obviously not rated R, and so i had to put up with some stuff i'm not really used to.
1) screaming babies W T F GET THE [censored] OUT OF THE THEATER!!! that [censored] guy knows exactly what's up. he knows his hellspawn is bothering basically everyone in the place, yet he refuses to leave the theater. why can't someone just pummel him caveman style so we can all enjoy the rest of the movie? B) read alouders these people feel compelled to prove to everyone else in the theater that they can in fact read. whenever a sign appears with big lettering on it, you can bet some [censored] in the crowd will read it for everyone. do these people just have no inner voice whatsoever?? that's all for now what else annoys you guys in movie theaters specifically? |

Re: a few things i hate about movies
that's what i'm talking about kurosh.. the "repeat it out loud" part. it's just ugh... the average IQ in that theater must have been no higher than 80

Re: a few things i hate about movies
along the 'read alouders' line - whenever walking down the aisle to your specific theater, there are always a number of large cardboard cutouts promoting upcoming movies. too many people feel they are obligated to point and say the name of the movie, as if the other people with them would've missed the gigantic [censored] thing.

Re: a few things i hate about movies
God the audience in the Simpsons was the worst I've ever experienced. There were about 20 people that would laugh at EVERY SINGLE stupid thing they said. Some of them weren't even jokes. Most of them weren't lol funny but they did it anyway.
They would hear the joke, repeat it out loud. Then they pause for a second, letting their stupidity course through their veins until they "get it" and all laugh together, 5 seconds later. |
