Amateur Roy Winston, Los Angeles, just took down the Main Event at Borgata and over 1.5 million, besting a field of 560. Roy is the new High Limit, No-Limit Host at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, and this is his 2nd major cash, having won over $330,000 for a 26th place finish at WSOP Main Event. Congratulations Roy!

Any idea if he bought in or won a seat? If it's the latter then he may have been the guy that busted me in the $1,000 super on Saturday night when he sucked out like a champ. I saw his pic on Cardplayer, looked a lot like him.

As far as I know, he bought in, but I couldn't be positive. He has $$$$ so he doesn't usually play the sats, and is planning on playing all of the WPT events, one way or the other. I believe he flew in Sarturday so it would have been tough to hit the sats after an all day of travel.
After following the action on the final table and the whole of the 4th day, there were suck outs after suck outs, by everyone. Skill may get you there, it is luck that will carry you through. You can't always dodge the 2 or 3 outer. |

I noticed this and thought I would answer. I won a seat in the $2,000 mega and two single table sats.

BTW, this is the same Roy Winston who was shown in the WSOP ME last night (ep. 11 or 12)? The anesthesiologist.
