do the Col/SD stats count as \"regular season\"?
before the season started, i took a 5-1 prop on bodog that two or more pitchers would tie to lead MLB in wins.
josh beckett is the only pitcher with 20 wins through 162 games, but jake peavy has 19 and is on track to get the W tonight. does it count towards his regular season total? i seem to recall that when the cubs won their way in back in 1998, those numbers counted. i'm searching bodog's rules, but i can't find anything on the subject, except that they defer to vegas rules on anything not listed. has anyone ever encountered this situation in vegas and knows the rule there? i'm planning to ask bodog support as well, but this is probably too specific a question to expect them to know it off the top of their head. |

Yes, all stats tonight count as regular season stats, so a win for Peavy will be his 20th of the season. Good luck!

The stats count for the regular season but I see this being touted as a "playoff game". If they can find a way to take money from you then I'm sure they'll do it.

well, doesn't matter now. i'll highlight the positives; this could have been a long fight to get paid, and now i don't have to deal with it.
great game. |

Re: do the Col/SD stats count as \"regular season\"?
Peavy WOULD have gotten his 20th win tonight. The announcers even mentioned he was trying to be the first Padre to do this since Gaylord Perry.
Obviously that ain't going to happen anymore now that it's tied again. But they are definitely regular-season games. They used to have a 3-game playoff for such tie-breakers and those counted as part of the reg-season also. Maury Wills's record of 165 games in a season is going to be hard to top. |

yes, but now that point is null and void. too bad, as two CLE pitchers finished with 19 as well.
