Best Book or reference for no limit, $1/$2 cash casino game
There's so much stuff on tournaments. I wondered what everyone here would suggest for a good book or reference for the $1/$2 no limit casino cash game.
Thanks! |

Agreed with 4_2 - Especially on Little Green Book. It's really easy to read, and I definitely think it's an underrated book.

If you already have basic ideas about the games such us poisiton, odds, and outs, I suggest you just go and sit down play. Live SSNL casino cash games are usually very loose and sometimes very table-dependent. Your job is to spot bad players and use your position to play against them.

I just got Little Green Book yesterday and I like it alot.
Is playing super tight the best way to do it or does mixing it up with raises in late positions with Q-J suited help disguise my later hands? |

What's the difference between NLTAP and the Green book? [/ QUOTE ] NLTAP requires more studying. The concepts are more advanced and it is definitely a more theory-ish book. Green book is an easier read. It is "dumbed down" for lack of a better phrase. You can read that and just breeze through the book understanding the material easily. Just picture having a conversation with Sklansky vs. having a conversation with Phil Gordon as he is on Celebrity Poker. That's the difference. |
